Three steps of stainless steel etching
Different kinds of stainless steel have different etching processes, But the general process is as follows: stainless steel corrosion → degreasing → water washing → etching → water washing → dryness → screen printing → thousand dryness → water immersion for 2-3min → etching pattern text → water washing → deinking → water washing → pickling → water washing → electrolytic polishing → water washing → dyeing or electroplating → water washing → hot water washing → dryness → soft cloth polishing (polishing) → spraying transparent paint → dryness → inspection → waste packaging.
1.Disposal before etching
The process before stainless steel etching is pre-treatment, which is the key process to ensure the good adhesion between screen printing ink and stainless steel mask. Therefore, it is necessary to thoroughly remove the oil and oxide film on the surface of metal etching. The oil removal plan should be made according to the oil pollution condition of the workpiece. It is better to carry out electrolytic oil removal in the silk printing line to ensure the oil removal effect. In addition to the oxide film, the best etching solution should be selected according to the type of stainless steel and the film thickness to ensure the clean appearance. Before screen printing, it should be dry. If there is moisture, it will also affect the adhesion of the ink, and affect the effect of subsequent pattern etching and even aliasing, and affect the decorative effect.
2.Screen printing
Screen printing should be based on the needs of printing to manufacture standard pattern screen printing. In the pattern decoration process, silk screen printing mainly plays the role of maintenance. When the photosensitive glue is applied more times, in order to make a thicker screen template, so as to make the covering performance good and the etched pattern clarity high. Under the action of light, the glue film of screen plate produces photochemical reaction, which makes the light partially cross-linked into the glue film insoluble in water, while the part not illuminated is partially dissolved by water and the screen space is exposed, so that the screen plate coated with glue film can be photoengraved with the pattern of black and white positive film.
The screen printing plate with pattern is fixed on the screen printing machine, the alkali soluble acid resistant ink is used to print the required pattern on the metal plate, and the etching can be stopped after being dry.
3.Disposal after etching
Screen printing ink must be removed after etching. Ordinary acid resistant ink is easily soluble in alkali. Immerse the etching machine in 40-60g / L sodium hydroxide solution at 50-80 ℃ for several minutes to remove the ink. After removal, if high brightness is required, polishing can be stopped, and then dyeing can be stopped. In order to avoid discoloration and increase wear resistance and corrosion resistance, transparent varnish can be sprayed after dyeing. Some metals have good corrosion resistance and can not be dyed, and can not be coated with transparent paint, which should be determined according to practical requirements.
